Hey all,

I wanted to get some feedback on the PSA uppers I have been seeing for $300-400 range. Anyone have one and like it?  Would it be better to go with a Bravo Company upper instead?  I am trying to stay on budget with the upper.  Also, what BCG do you recommend?  Planning on finishing this build by the end of the year. I currently have a built lower i finished a few months ago.

Mega arms forged lower
PSA LPK
KNS anti-roll pins
Moe Grip and Stock
Spikes buffer tube kit
BAD-ASS safety

Love my PSA 20".. You'll find a lot of guys who love their, the only grip is wait time on the builds. Mine took a month, just ordered another yesterday and I hope it is the same.

Love mine! Its their 14.5'' pinned carbine upper CL 1/7 twist. It has seen 2000+ rounds with 1500+ being steel cased. Accuracy for my needs is excellent. At 50 yards with irons I can hold 4'' group. I usually use a 3x9x32 Simmons scope at 100 yards and can usually keep 1''-1 1/2'' group. Wait time is now much longer than when I purchased mine as stated above, but I would order it again in a heartbeat even with the longer wait.

I have a 16" middy PSA upper. It has been great. 100% function from day one. Shot a carbine course with it. I had to load mags fast and ended up loading a complete goulash of my reloads, wolf, and XM193. Despite random types of ammo it ran without a hickup for ~650 rounds (the last 120 of the day were mag dumps as fast as I could reload, I only stopped because it was too painful to hold the rail)

The BCG is BCM though. Dovetailing into BCM vs PSA, i only went PSA because Bravo was out of what I wanted. If bravo has what you want, I'd advise going them, if they don't, you'll probably like your PSA. I would advise a BCM BCG at least though, no reason not to.

I managed to squeeze out about a 2.5" group with 75gr HPBT reloads at 100m. With me behind the trigger and using a 4moa red dot, i am very pleased with the rifle's accuracy.

Concerning the KNS pins, they're not necessary if you install the trigger springs correctly; however, it is your money, so if it makes you feel better go for it i say

i have my psa 16" mid upper on a mega arms lower and can't be happier.  since you are getting a psa lpk and moe grip/stock, might also look into their moe lower build kits instead.  you save a few bucks.  as far as bcg, the only consistent company that has them in-stock and are rated top tier is BCM BCG @ $159.

The PSA uppers are excellent, and very hard to beat for the money. As far as a BCG goes, The BCM is certainly a good one, however, there are others just as good for less money. One that I highly recommend is the Core 15 BCG. You can get their regular BCG on sale right now for $119 with free shipping HERE , or, you can get their NiB coated BCG for $170 shipped HERE . I have BCGs from Colt, BCM, PSA, DD, Noveske, Kies, Core15, and have had LMT, CMT, RRA, & Youngs. My overall money is no object favorite is the NiB coated Kies BCG, followed by DD & Colt, after that, it is pretty much a toss up between Core15, BCM, & PSA....

Thanks for all the input.  It looks as though I will be heading the PSA upper direction with BCM BCG and Charging handle.  Looking forward to getting it finished and out to the range!
