[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PWA Post Ban Serial Number?

On the "pre ban list" it says post ban PWA lowers have a year prefix. Does anyone have an example? Thanks.

I bought several of the final year's production of PWA lowers and there is no year prefix unless they were built in 1942. Not. Mine are s/n 42XXX series.

I really believe this is some kind of urban legend!

I also own a 42XXX PWA lower! You're right, no year prefix. Small world.

Never seen a prefix in serial # but I used to have a PWA lower 36,xxx that had a date stamped on the mag well 2/24/95 or so ...
