Living in Spitzertopia i am forced into pre ban lowers for fun guns. I bought a PWA A2 and the pistol grip is loose but the screw is tight. I backed it out all the way and re-snugged it but the same result persists. I tried a Ergo grip and it was worse. Any problems just shortening the screw? The threads appear to be fine.

try stacking a washer or 2 or 3 and a little blue loctite, let the loctite setup 24 hrs the check it

Run a 1/4 - 28 tap into the grip screw hole and fully chase the threads all the way into the floor of the fire control group pocket.
