| Looking for a picture of the Primary Weapons System CQB comp on a rifle where the barrel extends PAST the handguards. My 11.5 has the standard plastic handguards and FSB and I'd like to see if it would look ridiculous to have the CQB hanging off of the front of that. |

Is this what you are talking about?
CQB PWS I seem to remember a pic like you described but with 7.62x39 AR. It might be on their site. ETA: Unless you are building just for the look, I would use another muzzle device. That product along with a KX3 has no place on a fighting gun. |
| yes - that's it. PWS sent me a picture, just waiting on their OK to repost it here. Why would you not want this on a fighting gun? Is there some deficiency that I'm obviously not aware of? My understanding is that this and the KX3 are similarly designed and work great on SBRs... throwing all the sound forward with the CQB adding a flash hider to the front of it. |

The main advantage of a KX3 it provides back pressure to make a short barreled ar more reliable. The thing about it is it is over 3 inches long, defeats the purpose of a shot barrel AR if your going to add 3 inches to it. The kx3 does not suppress flash or provide any kind of muzzle control. Basically, it adds alot of Flash, weight and length to the muzzle. I have a 10.5" with a battle comp and it has been 100% ETA: Kevin B, says the same thing except his word carries more weight than mine. |
