Does anyone have experience with the PWS brake that is threaded to accomodate a Phantom SS suppressor?
The YHM QD mount works fine and I have it mounted on a carbine, but I have a WOA 20" SDM build and am interested in a FH/Brake that is not quite as fugly as the standard YHM. The PWS brake looks interesting and maybe a bit more of a cosmetic match to the rifle (although the YHM mounting system is not the most aesthetically pleasing). Interested if anyone has used this unit and has any feedback on quality/performance. It's classified as a brake, so I anticipate more noise (unsuppressed) and somewhat lessened flash reduction, but interested in any user comments. I'm also considering asking ADCO to cut the WOA barrel to 18". That would make the overall length with the suppressor more manageable without compromising performance too much. Having that barrel in 18" with the fluting should make for a nice relatively light package. Any comments, feedback, etc. on that idea would be appreciated as well.
