Hey guys. This is just a pointless post. But I was just cleaning my guns, I was messing with the magazine on my AR. Anyone else think the round count next to the window on the P mags is pointless since it is way off on the actualy round count? I like the window, but the 5-15-25 numbers are waaay off to the actual round count. Why do you think that is?
UPDATE: I was using the bullets as the marker and not the ORANE MARKED SPRING COIL!!! LOL thanks guys.

I can't say I have a lot of experience using them, but I'm looking at one right now and it seems pretty right on the number.

When I load my pmags the # is way off as you stated no idea why

Are you going off where the round sits in the window, or where the orange mark on the spring is?

Mine are right on, you have to go by the orange marks on the spring.

I unloaded and loaded a few mags yesterday and the markings were pretty much right on.
