Why are some Orlites I've seen painted black? I've seen many that look like they've been painted glossy black. Is it just for cosmetics or do they tend to be "special" - and not in a good way.  |

I've seen this referred to as "refinished" or "refurbished". Usually it means that these beat-up mags also had writing on them, and that they were painted to hide the wear and markings. I would advise avoiding Orlites entirely, but if you're going to buy them, ONLY buy brand-new ones. -Troy |
