So what was your guys' final opinion for this stuff?  Is it first tier like Port, Austalian, Agentinian and South African?

How does it compare in terms of accuracy with the above.

Finally, Century arms sells the stuff for $135.00 a case think.  Anexperience on their shipping charges?

It was on par with argentinian ammo, maybe a bit dirtier.  I didn't have any problems with the 250rds I shot.  I've got so much other .308 I didn't need anymore.  Buy a case and try it out!

Take a step back. Think carefully.....Pakistani.....ammo......think about it. This from a country that cannot make an ice cube....Pakistani ammo is one of those contradiction in term things---like crack Iraqi troops, Arab logic, Mexican air force.....

So they can't make an ice cube, but they can have a Nuclear reactor?

Anyways, I haven't shot any of it yet, still got a bunch of Aussie sitting around.

I know it isn't match grade but did it group reasonably?

Yeah and people making comments on something they havent tried makes sense also right?

I bought 2k of it and i have fired maybe 3-400 rounds other than having to adjust the gas setting on my fal it worked fine. I would put it on par with the argentinan and maybe port. Its worth gettingif the price is good. I paid $119 per  k for mine when century had it on sale

I wonder where in Pakistan the ammo was manufactured, is it corrosive? The idiots is only funny as he shows his lack of vocabulary by using a sentence instead of oxymoron.

Its not corrosive. The case says L2A2 and POF on it.

I've heard good things about Pof regarding HK parts so  I imagine there other products would be good too.

The UK Mil used Pakistani ammo as a contract buy in the mid 80's, mainly 9mm and some 7.62mm.

All of it was awfull, it got banned from being used, and dumped in the Irish Sea!

Inconsistant powder charges and poor quality control.

If the ammo you are looking at is 90's then you could hope that it might have improved, as I have not fired any later lots of it.

However.......

I've never shot any Pak, but I had some Indian 7.62.  Horrible junk.  Almost as bad as Olympic .223

It was about 2-2.5moa out of a chrome lined LRB with me behind it, so someone better could probably shoot it better.  Still 2-2.5 is OK for blasting IMHO

Everyone that I have talked to about it has told me to stay away from it.

I think I'll check out a few boxes and see.  Was the stuff you bought from a big box like the stuff they sell in Sportsmanguide?

I bought 2000 rounds of it and blastes about 500 rounds so far without a hitch. The stuff has not jammed, kaboomed or anything else. The ammo was packed in 20 rounds boxes and marked L2A2.

thanks,
Ron

I actually got the stuff I shot from Sportmansguide.  If you're still not sure, just get the 250rd order and if you think it sucks, you didn't lose as much as if you got a case

Bought some from Century.  Headstamps are late 70's/early 80's.  The stuff seems well made.  Bullets and primers are sealed and there is a good crimp on both.  Accuracy is ok, a little dirty, but no FTF in the first 100 rnds through a PTR-91.

The only bad thing about it is that storage conditions were not the greatest so there is some small spots of corrosion on some cases.  Nothing I would consider unsafe, have shot off ammo that was much worse.

Long story short, good ammo for plinking and like it better than the argy stuff on the market, but I wouldn't buy it to store away for a rainy day like the aussie, hirt, RG, port, or SA ammo.

Anecdote:  Was shooting both the paki and argy stuff through the PTR.  One of the mags I was testing out was allowing the last round to nosedive, which resulted in the bullet ramming into the end of the barrel below the chamber.  The argy round had the bullet pushed back into the case when this happened.  Tried the same thing with the paki ammo trying to chamber the last round three different times.  The round never did chamber but the bullet was not even slightly pushed back into the case.
