Starting a 18" mid length stainless 308 Build on a Palmetto State Kit $599 Shipped and P-TAC Lower $75 shipped
The parts kit looks great all the parts fit and finished very well while I was in a buying mood I also picked up a magpul moe stock set $60 and a spare AR10 bolt carrier assembly from ADK $120 for a second custom build down the road Got it all put together but I was having a problem chambering a round had to force the bolt carrier to chamber a round Upon closer inspection it apears the ejector spring is very hard to compress or too long and the extractor is too strong found it had two O rings on the spring so having an extra carrier assembly on hand just dropped the ADK carrier assembly in and wow it runs like a champ The original carrier assembly may need to be broken in or might just be a common problem has anyone ever had this problem and if so what was the fix thanks |
