Anyone out there own or used one of the new DPMS "Pardus" rifles?? I bought American Shooter's "The Black Rifle" magazine and saw a picture and short description. From what I gathered, mainly geared toward 3-gun competition, but an awesome looking gun for general use too. The one they showed was in tan IIRC, and had the "tri-rail" upper. If someone can find a link, I would be grateful. Also, like to hear some opinions.

Thanks

ETA: I really like the look of the pardus stock. Seems it would be a big improvement over the M4 and they're pretty reasonable as far as price goes. Here's a link I found on gunbroker.com (imagine that!)

One thing I saw on the link that I didn't see in the magazine, no forward assist or dust cover. Like a lot of the older Lo-Pro rifles from DPMS. Not necessarily negative, just a thought.

i don't get the need for a rail on the sides of the upper...
especially on the ejection port side...

1500 is a little steep for a DPMS...
