| I've been wanting to do a new build. I've noticed though, my typical go to places are slim picking. Primary Arms, AIM, Joe Bob, Surplus Ammo and Arms. Has anyone else noticed the limited availability of parts? |
| I just finished my first build, and yes, it was very difficult to find some parts online. Lower parts kits seem to disappear very fast. The website I ordered from is now out of stock on almost all of them. The particular handguard I wanted was only available on one specific website. The barrel I ordered sold out within a week, and when they came back in stock, the price was higher. The trend I noticed was parts would sell out, there'd be a week or two, then they would come back in stock, generally. So I guess maybe it depends on how fast you can gather all your parts, or how long you're willing to wait for them to come back in stock. |

Local Pawn/Gun shop has about a half a dozen LPK's in stock, all the charging handles you could want, 3-4 tube and buffer sets, about a dozen varied stripped lowers, 8-10 bolts (Rock Rivers, meh....) and two or three complete uppers to sell.
They're in pretty good shape. They are selling plenty of parts, guns, ammo--- lots of folks adding rails, cerakoting etc....They got in three Ruger Precision Rifles yesterday, one in each caliber....only the .243 is still there today. I moved up TWO spots on the list! Should have mine by the first part of next month! |

Has anyone else noticed the limited availability of parts? We've got an Easter sale going on and finally received a decent stock of parts but they won't last long. When parts do become available the manufacturers usually raise prices on us. Rob RightToBear.com |
