New Guy here to the forums from Jacksonville, NC. I recently got a lower receiver and am wanting to construct a semi version of an M4. Was looking for some suggestions on parts such as lower parts kits and uppers and stocks. I'm basically looking to get it as close to USGI M4 that I can minus the three round burst. Any ideas are appreciated, thanks.

I'm probably not going to be too much help since I'm still working on the parts list for my first build, but I can tell you that if you post up some more details on what you want you will have more helpful answers or suggestions. What do you want the rifle to do, how well do you want/need it to shoot, weight requirements, especially budget, etc etc. There are always a hundred different ways (or more) to build an AR I've learned... so decide what your precise requirements are and then decide between the few that fit that, or the closest possible match.
