Bolt carrier has a "D" stamped above the left side rail, halfway between bolt end and firing pin retainer hole. Bolt has a "D" stamped into, halway between the ejector and extractor pin holes, perpindicular to the bolt face. The flatop upper has absolutely no marks, whatsoever. But, the machining is absolutely beautiful, every edge crisp and arrow straight. The rail at the top has absolutely no dings/nicks/erosion/chips on the edges, unlike most of the "cheap" uppers I have seen. The finish is just a hair darker than my Colt lower, and it looks mildly "pitted" in places. Like the Olmos/upper thread, but not as bad. Any ideas? |
