My 'idea' gun is comming together. Stag lower. RRA EOP upper. Armalite chrome-lined 20" std bbl. w. gas block. 4 or 6 position buttstock Free-float handguards Leupold VX-II (since I already have it). Float tube front Still undecided on some internals. The primary goal of this rifle is as a plinker / turkey / deer rifle. Deer here are dog size and 223 is legal for them. Any thoughts? This will be my first 'scratch' build, so some things like whether the armalite bbl has the M4 ramp allowance milled into it are still unknowns - I'll find out what I can but meanwhile, whaddya think? |

I'm not sure how eye relief is going to work out for the wife with the adjustable stock + scope. It's not as big a deal with iron sights but I really want a scope. Maybe I'll forego the collapsible even though I want one... Sigh. You have the: Maser-taser-x-laser, banana-nana-fo-phaser! |
