What are your thoughts of the Pentagon L2 as a suitable weapon mounted light?  I am looking for a reasonable priced, not over-powerful light that will use the button activation.  It will be mounted at the 3:00 position on a mid-length rail.  Thanks for your thoughts!!

The Pentagonlight L2 is a very high quality light that will work well on a weapon if you are satisfied with its 65-lumen output (I have grown accustomed to my Malkoff M60 equipped lights so the L2's 65-lumens looks pathetic to me).

The body of the L2 has a rather greenish color and is very long for a 2-cell light (about 1/2 inch longer than a Surefire 6P).

Since Pentagonlight is now defunct, replacement parts for them will likely become scarce, but on the other hand, the lights can be found very cheaply right now.  (I bought one on ebay a few weeks ago for under $50).

I went to three guns stores in the last week and they all sold Pentagon lights. Not a single one of them knew that Pentagon was out of business.
