For better or worse , I bought a Pentax Gameseeker HS10 today . It is a red dot holo type sight .
Did not get to the range today , but examining it here at home , it is intriguing . I first mounted it in a handle mount for an A2 , that put it way too high , so it took it off . Mounted it on my 16" flat top build . I was happy to find I did not need the extra 1" riser I bought , to get it high enough . We will see if it is any good . God bless Wyr |

May be this weekend before I get to shoot it . But I took it outside ( BRIGHT sunlight ) . The intensity adjustment oges from 0 to 11 , 0 being off .
I could barely see the dot on 3 . I could see the dot OK on 4 . Inside the house , I can see the dot on 1 . Uses a CR2032 battery . Ordered some on EBay . God bless Wyr |
