Anyone done this themselves ? I've sent rifles to Adco before but I want to do this myself . I have access to a mill for drilling and got a welder lined up to tack it on with a tig welder. As far as the pin would an 1/8" drill bit cut down to flush be sufficient ? Would a depth 1/16 " be enough to seat the pin into the barrel itself ? Should I just send it to ADCO before I fuck up my Stealth barrel

I used 1100 degree silver solder

Some people use a piece of coat hanger as their pin.  Drill bit would work but might be a pain in the ass to get flush with the brake.

I simply drilled a hole through my flash hider  just deep enough to dimple the barrel threads and then used the weld bead to fill the hole. I wasn't aiming for a particularly strong weld, just enough to keep it from unthreading easily with a wrench.
