[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Phantom 5C2/Comp

Anyone use the Phantom 5C2/Comp (with the closed bottom)? I've got a 14.5" barrel that I'm getting my FS tacked onto. I've got the original phantom on another AR and it works very well. 'm wondering if the new phantom 5C2 has the same amound of flash supression?

I had ADCO put one on my Dissy right after the end of the ban. Flash is almost zero now. I like it a lot.

I've used both and couldn't tell any difference.
I wasn't shooting at night though.

ETA: It was a 5-slot (all the way around) Phantom vs. a closed-bottom 5C2.

My BM 1/9 14.5" has a perm. Phantom 5C1 and it kills flash dead. At night it wins hands down against my old upper. The old upper has the same barrel but with the old style 4 slot pronged Phantom, night shooting was just so-so. I'm glad I went with the 5C1.

The 5C1 and 5C2 are both 5 slot designs. I have no experience with the 5C2, but i'd imagine it's every bit as good as my 5C1.
