So, I was looking at the 2005 Bushmaster catalog, and noticed that the beloved Phantom is now listed with different specs. It is now showing a length of 2 3/16", whereas the 2004 catalog lists it at 2 1/4". The new catalog is calling it the Phantom 2 but it retains the YHM-28-5C1 stock number. Does anyone know if this is a typo, or did Yankee really change the length? The one I have measures 2 1/4", but I was planning on getting a few more. I know it's only 1/16" difference, but I would prefer to keep them all the same, if possible... Anyone know? Ok, so I contacted YHM and they advised that the length is 2 3/16", always has been, and will remain so. The 2 1/4" comes from the addition of the crush washer. Gotta go remeasure coz I could have sworn it was 2 1/4" w/o the washer... |
