I'm a huge fan of the YHM diamond forearm.I have the YHM lightweight forearm on another rifle but I like the diamond a lot better. Not only do I like the look of it but the lightweight rail construction doesn't allow for some accessories to work , i.e. my (screw mount) fore end grip.

Real happy with the look and paying the extra $20 for what is already the best deal in forearms on the market.

looks great! just ordered my rifle length yhm diamond.  Unfortunately, i don't think i can mount my gas block under the tube considering the placement of the factory gas block

Because you are the only one I've seen with this grip, I'd like to ask you a couple questions:

Did you buy it because of a broken ear on the receiver?
-and-
Does the extra material high on the back of the grip force your hands position uncomfortably lower?

Thanks

No broken ears.

Grip is real comfortable.  Feels more like my Sig Pistols....
