| I recently purchased off of a forum, what is supposed to be a Bushmaster Varminter complete upper with a 24" fluted barrel. The problem is that NONE of the Picatinny accessories that I have tried to install fit. The spacing of the slots on the upper don't coincide with the slots on a standard Picatinny rail. I called Bushmaster and was told that they always have machined their rails to standard and they don't know what I have. Well, maybe someone here can tell me what I have. I do realize that I will just have to go ahead and replace the upper anyway. I just don't understand why the upper that I have was machined that way. |
