For whatever absurd fantastical reason, you have decided to reduce/enhance your 5.56 AR collection to 4 platforms, whether retros, clones, custom builds, etc.

Guidelines:
- Semi auto (SBRs ok)
- Pistols count
- Multiples ok (e.g.: 2 M4s, 2 A4s),
- Not a wish list (If you can't afford a fantasy Noveske SPR and a hand-restored 601 build, don't add them)
- Consider multiple uppers off the table now, but not verboten, so that you don't make your selection based on (not) being able to have multiples

You can be as specific as you want about the build or you can simply list the platform(s) you would. Some will make this the 4 most important platforms and others may consider diversifying for recreation and leisure. What would you pick and why?

-M4A1 CQBR Block II or Block I
-M4A1 14.5 Block I
-M4A1 14.5 Block II
-M16A2, M16A4 or Mk12 mod H or mod 1

I'd rather have all 8 , but if only 4 I guess I'd go with-

-CQBR B2
-14.5 B2
-14.5 B1
-M16A2

Three 556 "pistols" extremely light, pack ability, maneuverability, balancing only my thoughts on range accuracy ect  (some very poor mans versions of some MK18 ish goodness)

and the 20" 308,  for anything serious at longer ranges.

Also all have the same suppressor mounts so all of those are interchangeable

Maybe after the first of the years some F1 stamps will happen.

Knights Armament SR15 Mod 1 (Has a T1 but, would put a 1-6 Variable on it)
Knights Armament 14.5 Carbine (Wears a T1 and MAMS)
Knights Armament SR15 Block II SBR (have it with a T1 and QDSS-NT4)
Noveske Limited Edition FDE SPR (Have a Leupold Mark 4 and Ops Inc 12th Model)

I own all four above and out of all the ones I own, those would be the top 4 out of the 5.56's I'd keep. It's really a toss up between the SPR and my M4A1 CQBR and would most likely give the nod to the shorty since I have a SR25 for the mid to extended range. In reality, if I could only have a select few, it would be my SR25, KAC 14.5, and KAC 11.5.

I could narrow it down to 4 if I had to

1. A1/sp1 type retro rifle, just for the pure enjoyment and historical feel. To add to that its still a great simple kiss type woods gun.
2.M4 with a railed handguard and an ACOG, part of it is the history of the rifle, the other is that its still effective today.
3.11.5 SBR with and aimpoint, they are just great little CQB gun, in doors MOUT type.
4.MK12 Mod H type rifle, I would use more modern parts but a 16 inch barrel, full length freefloat, high power variable scope. The 16 inch looses just 50fps with my load compared to a 20, I dont think Ill ever do another 20 unless its a historical build.

16" midlength, 20" with removable carry handle, 11.5" pistol with Sig brace or SBR, and a Colt LE6920 just because.

16" A2 Kiss carbine
10" 300Blk SBR
18" 3gun/precision
16" PSA CHF mid,  aimpoint, light, sling, buis

Already own them, left the little deatils out. A close 5th would be SPR-ish 20" .
