I was wondering if anyone had a Bushmaster 16" A3 with a Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x44 mounted to the flattop.  I would like to know what it looks like.  I am interested in the high rise ARMS rings.  Would they be high enough  to get a good cheek weld.

The high rings give a good cheek weld - they are 0.05 inches lower than the stock iron carry handle sights. Not enough to notice.
