I noticed while shooting my Stag 1L yesterday that the pin holding the trap door over the ejection port would walk out while shooting. It only moved about 3/4" and I was able to press it back in. I also noticed that after shooting 50 rds the heat shields in the handguards aren't even with the plastic anymore. This doesn't matter to me but I was wondering if there are known things like this with AR's and if there are ways to correct them. Does anyone else have any tips for me in regards to cleaning, maintaining proper functioning, etc? Thanks for your help, it's great to finally have an AR of my own. Now comes the new CTR stock, MIAD grip, some sort of optic, etc.
