Hi, I'm planning on re-barreling an AR, and I would prefer to go with a flip-up style fsp/gas block to facilitate usage of a scope. Besides the old KAC flip ups, what options are on the market for a pinned flip up front sight? I've been looking but it seems all I've seen so far are clamp-on or set screw. Are there pinned picatinny topped ones?

I think the vast majority are clamp on.  Have you ever thought of just using a low pro GB and getting a longer rail to cover it?

Getting a FSB pinned typically isn't cheap and neither are flip up gas blocks.  You'd probably be out similar money going this route.

Yep, I'm pretty much resigned to going with a pinned lo profile. I just wanted to check with the community, in case there was an option I was missing.
