| Given the brace rule that was published, is PSA going to continue selling a short variant of the jakl or are they only going to be produced in 16" variants? I don't really have an interest in a 16" variant. I can see why others would want a 16" variant, especially in light of the new rule, but overall I think the jakl will be a dead firearm if PSA decided to go 14.5" p&w 16" and up only. |

I bought an upper kit without the brace fully intending to SBR it. We knew how this new rule was going to turn out so i never jumped on the brace wagon. But now I'm just going to wait out the court cases and see how it unfolds and maybe save myself $200 on a stamp. I've already gotten stamps for suppressors so I'm already on the list. The rear adapter has a qd socket so if i want to shoot it now just put a sling on it, push it forward like using ar pistols before braces were a thing. Unless the ATF is reclassifying slings as stocks. I think PSA should focus on selling 16" barrels for JAKLs above all else and those that bought kits can swap out barrels and slap a stock on it. Still cheaper to go that route than a SCAR 16. |
