NOOB here, I have completed 2 rifles in the last couple of weeks. My question is on the kegality of building a pistol. If I purchase a lower what is requires to build it as a pistol, do I have to register the lower as a handgun at the time of purchase?

Im pretty sure the lower has to be marked as pistol and registered as sutch.
