Latest Build; PWS Piston (thanks to Lee & Jake at AR Bunker for all your help) , Anvil Arms fluted CM\CL  16” barrel, Duracoated C3 lower & BCM Upper (thanks to Oakridge Custom Finishing, nice job) and a DD Omega, sorry some of the pics are pretty blurry, half the one I took didn’t come out. I guess I need a camera more than another rifle.

I'm not a big fan of the finish on the upper and lower, but it looks pretty kick ass all the same.

yea this is my second "Coated" rifle; I think the next one I do will have to be black or maybe some combo of desert tan and black. Thanks anyways.

Looks good from where I'm sittin'...

Not quite as good as the SunDevil, but pretty damn close.

AR15newbe is correct...After seeing what MagPul had to say about those sights, I do think that I would go ahead and swap the Troy sights to this one...and put the MBUS' on the SunDevil since they won't be gas block mounted.

BTW...Here's that project I was working on when you called. I needed a new desk with more room, so I picked up some cheap lumber at HD, and a few hours later it looked like this...

Tomorrow I'm going to try to weld up a stand, so I can stack the two 24" monitors...that will free up some space.

After I finished it up, wifey says she wants me to get some expensive lumber and build one for her office, with drawers, and filing cabinets, and a keyboard tray...Ohhhhhhhhh Boy!

damn, i want that desk!   lol..    ok, i want the room to build the desk first.   how much that cost lumber wise? i want to make a desk that i can do computer work on, and still have room for cleaning my collection, and maybe reloading a bit further down the road.  I so need a "dog house" (workshop) nice rifle btw, i like the nekked look myself!

Dude you're not supposed to put Magpuls MBUS on the gas block, it can melt

I just want the monitors from your desk, jeez

The lumber was just shy of $200...but I bought enough to build some shelves above the monitors on the left side and a rack that is 6' wide X 5' tall for DVD cases and CDs, which I finished up today.

So I built all of that, and I still have $50 worth of lumber that I didn't use and will be taking back for a refund.

Juju we have a problem!
I went to the range today to sight the piston rifle. Shot 1, 2, 3, FTF, wth?

Ok; cleared the jam, shot 4, FTF again, wtf?
Cleared the jam again; shot 5, FTF, uh, ok maybe it’s the Mag. Swapped in a Pmag.
Shot 6, FTF again! WHAT THE F^&K!

Ok it’s not the mags; the piston is in the “0” position, lets run a little more oil on the bolt.
Shot 7, FTF, I damn near threw the rifle down the range. Then I remembered, OH CRAP! The buffer! Remember I only had that heavy ass H2 when we put the upper together?

Swapped the H2 buffer for the std. buffer in the 22LR. And bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, etc. Short stroking due to the H2, is this common with a Piston?
