Anyone know if a regular charging handle can be used with a piston system? I have a Core 15 with an Adams Arms piston on it. I am looking at changing the charging handle to a folding para-trooper model.

All piston AR-15s use the same charging handles DI AR-15s use, except the PWS line of AR-15s. They have a captured charging handle.

x2, PWS still uses standard charging handles as well but you have to unpin the piston head to replace the charging handle.  I heard that they updated the new versions and made the charging handles very easy to replace.  My PWS MK109 300blk shipped with a BCM medium charging handle.

I...I totally don't see the point in that.  I really don't.

Great for the range I expect where it's unlikely to hang up on everything from your kit to door jambs. to ...

$100 for a charging handle?  Who they kidding?

I would try one for $30.

It looks interesting, if pointless.

For the $100 they want for it... they can keep it.

I only like it because now its much easier to charge the rifle with my right hand.  Yes, I'm one of THOSE types of people, a mutant......
