| With all of these new gas pistion uppers coming out, this seems like a good question to me: Won't the piston upper effect the legendary accuracy of AR15's/M16's? |

How would a gas system effect accuracy in any major way? With a traditional AR/M16 setup, all the reciprocating stuff happens back in the upper receiver and dose not effect the barrel. With an AK type system (which is roughly what we're talking about) you have a gas piston banging back and forth inside a tube which IS attached to the barrel. |
I think the piston would also move more while the bullet is still in the barrel, compared to the traditional system, where it takes additional time for the bolt to unlock. |
