| Let's say someone were to have a plain out of the factory Oracle from DPMS. It has a Nikon 223 1-4x scope, but that's it. What accessories would be good upgrades and additions? Just looking for some suggestions. |

I certainly don't want to over think accessories. The point about a sling is a great one. Don't have rails to hook a light to yet. I am asking for thoughts to avoid the "looks cool" purchases and get right to the "makes it work better" type of things. You don't need "rails" to mount a light. A light and sling are good solid suggestions, seriously. Show us a picture of this rifle. |

Just ordered a second one for my 20"rifle - it is less "low drag high-speed ninja" but the feel and the help w. slapping the mags in is so worth it!

On my first build I bought all of these grips, rails, gizmos, whizzmos... out the butt. Guess who has a big Squirrel Box full of stuff now? It's amazing how cool your imagined AR is versus the reality of having it all bolted together, shouldering it and thinking "Wait a minute..."  and then the classic "Oh Fuuuuuudge,,,"
