Hello,
I am in the process of planning my first build, and I was wondering what is the difference between these two uppers?

top is a flattop 16"
bottom16" a2 style.

No, look in the answer box, it says that the bottom one is a flat top.

Bottom one is the A2,It says A2 which is a fixed carry handle.

The second link is a drop down with multiple choices. Which one?

Im going with what the title says which is Upper Receiver w/5.56 cal, FT, 16" Std Barrel, Chrome. Im just wondering if the price is the only difference. THanks,

I don’t see enough info on Brownell’s site.
One is 223 Rem the other 5.56mm, generally 5.56mm chamber is considered more desirable.
The 5.56mm weapon says chrome lined, again generally considered desirable. It is not clear if the first one is chrome lined or not.
You probably need to go to the DPMS website and look up the details.
