ive already kind of asked about this but i need more input. before i send my upper to bcm i need to know if anyone experienced what i am experiencing with my barrel extension and bolt. its a new bcm upper (figured i would go with bcm so i wouldnt have to worry about out of spec parts) and i am wondering if it is normal for the bolt to make slight contact with the barrel extension. it feeds and fires just fine and feels smooth as glass but on two of the barrel extension lugs you can see where the bolt barley made contact. and the two lugs on the bolt on the sides are shiny like the finish wore off and none of the other lugs are showing signs of wear. now is this a normal wear and tear thing or what.
please help.

i shot 400 rounds since i took the photo by the way which was today and it hasnt changed. im just worried about extra wear on the bolt from rubbing or contacting the extension.

A four hundred-round day? Nice!

Your barrel extension looks fine to this observer.

Only way to be sure is to nuke it from orbit!

Burn it up, man! We''ll be waiting for a comparison pic at 4,000 rounds! BCM has a superior reputation....enjoy!

I don't think I've ever looked that closely.  I'd say you're fine.

If it did not get any worse after 400 rounds then it will probably look the same 5000 rounds from now.  Don't worry about it.
