Recently i moved to texas and am in the fort sam houston area and i stopped at an academy store and purchased what looked like a combination ar-15/mini-14 magazine, it was clear made by Eagle. The magazine was clear and had the magazine locks for both the ar and mini rifles. i took it out to the range and ran a couple boxes of wolf ammo through it and my DPMS m-4 varaiant and it functioned, locked back on last round, perfect. not one failure to feed, extraction problem, locked up solid. It was great as it was on sale for 14.00 and i am planning on picking up about 10-11 more. they are very light and i was thinking those loaded with the PCA Natec 69 grain rounds would be a nice light package. Anyone else have any experience with the mags, drop a line. i am used to the military mags, but being able to look at a glance and know exactly how many rounds i had in the weapon and in back up was very reassuring. any comments?
