Hey guys I was at a gun show and picked this up. I'm a little baffled on what it is. It looks cast like a 601 fsb but doesn't have a bayonet lug. Also, it has a drain hole and there are no markings. Any ideas?

eta: nevermind, you fixed it.

Definitely cast. Maybe Olympic?

Can you show a close up pic of the left side of the FSB?  Also, does the lug look cut?

I'll get those pics up. It doesn't look cut, it looks pretty clean.

Not 601, looks .750

I'm thinking it's an OLY arms. It has a drain hole for the sight post. Also it's not Colt marked.

Nice patina , and nice find. I agree with kid. Olympic or other commercial FSB. The edges are to thick, and looks .750 too. I have aquired a pile of them over the years and there are variations between them but none are even close to the originals when you put them next to one.

It does measure. 750. Is it an Olympic that someone took the bayonet lug off of? Any value still?

It is an Oly FSB and I don't believe that particular one had a bayonet mount on them, I have a couple of them without bayonet mounts.

I also bought a flat head firing pin that I'm skeptical about and 3 machines firing pin retaining pins. Those are not original though. Idiot me didn't see until I got home that they are stainless. Cheap mistakes.
