Does anyone have recommendations of ammo to avoid after doing the 15 minute trigger job on an AR?

I don't mean an occassional FTF, but more like consistantly or often failing to fire due to the lighter hammer strike.

I'm pleased with the results, but would like to avoid the frustration of finding excessively hard primers the hard way.

Thanks.

I've only shot Federal XM193 after my D.I.Y. trigger job and so far (approx 2500 rounds) it's been smooth sailing.

With a JP trigger and its reduced hammer springs I never had a FTF with anything I tried, except the .22LR kit (Ciener).  That included Q3131/Q3131A, BH 52 & 68gr match, UMC & USA 55gr, USA 45gr JHP, Hornady V-Max, and even Wolf.

I doubt you'll have problems, but I'm told "military" primers and Wolf are harder than some.

IMHO, if you have problems with anything you should buy a new spring and try again, taking it down a little less this time.

Thanks for the posts.
I'll be trying it out tomorrow, and I didn't want to take the "wrong" ammo, but it sounds like things should go smoothly.

Thanks again.
