I was going through my mag stash and came across these magazines I think are pre-ban.... Sanchez Cooper Industries La Belle FN Circle Kay Parsons Precision Products ...Is there any way to confirm these are pre-ban so I can help out someone in a commie state?

If they are completely devoid of any markings inside or out then they are assumed to be preban. Pretty much all new post ban mags have some kind of date markings, cage codes or whatever, even though they are not required to anymore.
If there are no markings on the outside, check them for dates on the inside, the Okay's are most likely to have these i think. I have a bunch that do, and I didn't even know they were dated until I checked them after owning them for several years
Eta: Cooper, Parsons and Labelle all went out before the ban, so they are g2g. Sanchez I think as well. The FN and Okay's you'll have to check for markings, I have preban's of both brands but I know Okay made post ban as well, not sure about FN. |

What state are you in that you need to have pre-ban magazines? The assualt weapon ban ended years ago. You must be in free state. I am also in a free state but several states chose to leave it in effect. I think the only thing worse than a national AWB would be knowing that everyone else is free and my state is still communist. |
| it looks like some of my "range" mags are preban. Years ago i changed out all the springs followers and base plates to new magpul stuff. Can the states with the ban in effect have preban mags with new base plates, springs and followers in place? I still have the old parts but i hate to put old parts back in just to sell them. |
