I keep seeing ads in EE for preban lowers etc.
I have been living under a rock for the last couple of years, but I don't remember a new ban of any sort taking place. What would make a lower worth more if it is "preban" verses one produced in the last year or so? |

Some cockbreath constantly puts up an overpriced "preban Colt collectors rifle" on our local backpage. I send him some very nice emails about his fine museum piece.  |

A friend recently paid $1000 for a complete preban lower. The guy ahead of my friend at the store bought two for $1200 each! Lunacy! Wow. 
It has been several years, but I bought a "preban" PWA lower with your typical A2 upper and gov. profile 20" barrel. It set me back 4 bills used. |
