I've found a preban kit with chrome lined barrel in M-4 config.  Is it illegal to own such a thing?
Or is it illegal to assemble it on a post-ban lower (before the ban expires)?

If I purchase it, in anticipation of the ban expiring.  What problems could I run into?

Just illegal to build on a postban lower. Buy now, build later. September cant come soon enough can it? I am not putting too much stock into the ban expiring yet though.
