I want to do some long(er) range shooting and am deciding between a Remington 700PSS and a new upper for my existing AR.  Advantages of the new upper would be it's cheaper and uses ammunition I already have.  The 700 shoots a bigger bullet and has a longer effective range.

What upper should I use?  Two that I've looked into are: RRA 24" Varmint A4 (1:8) and RRA 20" Predator (1:8)
