My ex asked me what one of my former ARs is worth.

What would be a fair price for a Olympic Arms CAR-15 with an A-1 upper and the 11.5 inch barrel with the permanant 5.5 inch flash suppressor?

It was manufactured prior to the federal AWB. It's LNIB and has fewer than a hundred rounds through it.

A 12 year old Oly isn't going to bring much, your best bet is an AWB compliant state if you really want to sell it. Off hand, you are probably looking at $600-650.

The truth is good enough. I offered her what I considered a very generous $1150 about a year before the ban ended. She insisted it was worth way more than that.
