Nuts !
I just put together an AR-15. RRA upper, DPMS lower.
Have not fired it yet.
Everything tests fine. I put 5 dummy rounds is a 20 round clip to check to see if it would cycle and extract when I pulled the charging handle.
Well it appears it chambered the first shell, but it won't let me pull the charging handle back.
The bolt appears closed fully and won't open.
How do I get the dumy round out of it?
Is this test not a valid one?

while pulling down on your charging handle, slam the butt of the rifle on a hard surface like the floor.  that should free it up.  you dont have any extra parts layin around that you forgot to put in your weapon, right?

I will bet that you made your dummys from fired rounds- Right?
Fired rounds that have not been resized will tend to stick in the chamber.
Put on a pair of gloves, close a adjustable stock if it has one and slam it butt first on the ground while pulling on the handle. Smack it like it was someone elses rifle!

You know, I bought the dummy rounds on line. Who knows their pedigree.
I slammed it and fooled with the charging handle and it ejected.
Went to the range for some live fire.
100% functional.
The dummys were a waste of time and money.

Thanks.
