I was just playing around with the Aimpoint, I turned it on and it was fine.  I then turned it off,  back on and it now has 3 dots.  It's like there is 3 dots in a line, the real dot at the end of the scope a small less visable one in the middle and a big blurry one in the front.  The 3 dots are only visable on the 3 highest settings and not really visable on the lower ones.   I think I remember a while ago someone else stating they had a problem along the same lines.  Does anybody know why it's doing this or even better, how to fix it or if it can be fixed or do I have to send it to Aimpoint.

thanks,
Bill

one more question, I know Aimpoint wants a copy of the original receipt for warrinty work, Do you definetly need a receipt or will they still do warrinty work with out it.  I'm quessing you need the receipt but just hoping someone will tell me otherwise

Thanks SNIPER, I just called and I'm sending them the sight to fix.  The lady on the phone was really helpful and she didn't say anything about needing a receipt.

She didn't say what is wrong with it but she had me do a function test and from what she asked it sounds like it's something that isn't uncommon

thanks!

No problem.  I was sure they were not going to require a receipt.
FYI the guys over there are really busy and have been traveling a great deal so it may take a bit longer than usual to get it back.  I'm sure they will make it right though.
