Still working on getting my new build zeroed in and shooting as it should, have a problem I believe with the PA mini dot. It seems I can't get it to track for windage reliably, and even more importantly I can't get it to move over near far enough, I'm still hitting about 12" to the right at around 40yds. Gun seems to be grouping pretty will where it is hitting though, I got mad and rattled off about 10rds holding 12" left and all were on in about a 3" group from lack of precision hold and fast firing. So, is this something I'm screwing up or did I get a dud? Also, I hear good things about PA so I'm guessing they will take care of me, but has anyone had experience with their customer service? Thanks all.

Marshall should be along in the morning to help you out.

Marshall's customer service is exemplary, but there may be a short delay in getting hold of him - he's at the SHOT Show.

I am at SHOT but email the guys at the shop [email protected] or call 713-436-5121. They will get you a replacement shipped out right away.

Marshall

EDIT TO ADD: Just to be sure. The POI move opposite of the direction you move the dot. They are usually very close to dead on out of the box.

Take it off and remount it.
I had trouble with the windage adjustment on my Micro Green Dot. I just couldn't get enough windage. I took the sight off, remounted it and for what ever reason, it dialed in fine. I still don't have a clue.

Thanks guys, I figured it's probably something I'm doing. I'm going to try it again hopefully tomorrow after work, but I tried also going "opposite" and couldn't tell much, although this rifle hasn't had many rounds through it and is just starting to group up better. Marshall, thanks for the fast response. I'm not pinning this on the PA dot yet, I have a feeling it's me just asking if anyone else has done this. Like I said, I'll try again before I hassle your guys! Thanks again all.

Update - sight is great. It was me as I suspected. Turns out I didn't have the locking screws backed out far enough, got it zero'd in today and am grouping within a quarter size at 30yds with it mounted on top of my PEPR ring mount. Thanks for the great product Marshall!
