Just finished installing the ADCO-modified RRA 2-stage NM tigger....WOW, what a difference!

Unfortunately, now my safety selector switch is riding "high" on the left side of the receiver. In other words, the little pointer on the switch is not sitting 100% flush with the receiver. Everything works fine but I'm pretty sure it's supposed sit completely flush. Currently about a 1/32" gap.

Will somebody check their AR and tell me if this is wrong?

It's supposed to have about 1/32" gap. If it sat flush against the reciever, it'd wear the finish off the lower.

You didn’t believe my response from the earlier post?

Just looking for some more feedback.  It'd be great if someone could use a feeler gauge and post their actual gap.

Perhaps I'm being a bit OCD about this but I like my gear to be in top shape.

If your sure the detent is engaged in the safety, and pressing firmly on the opposite side of the safety will not release it from the lower receiver, then your ok. All my safeties have some gap. It’s normal and as mentioned above, if it sat flush the receiver's finish would wear.
