I have two postban Bushmaster xm15 lowers. One will accept Orlite mags with no problem at all while the other one the mags will not lock in no matter how hard you push them. It seems like the lip on the mag is stopping the mag from being able to go in far enough to catch. I have four Orlites and have the same problem will all of them. Both lowers will accept USGI's with no problem. What would be the cause of this problem and is there anything that can be done about it? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. |

IIRC, early Orlites had this problem, a few minutes w/ the Dremel tool and ya can buzz the lip down enough to get them to work just fine. I've made this mod to quite a few and they make good range mags, (Note: left loaded for too long can cause orlites to swell and not fit mag well). Mike |
