I'm building my first AR lower when all the parts arrive and I have a few quick questions regarding punches:
1) Do I want brass or steel punches? 2) What type / style of hammer do you recommend? 3) Is there any reason why I would want regular punches as well as roll pin punches, or can I do everything I will ever need to on my AR with the roll pin punches? 4) What sizes do I need to cover every pin on the gun? 5) What quality brands do you guys recommend? I like quality and would rather build up a more expensive set of tools that last, opposed to damaging my gun and and half assing it just to save a few bucks in the beginning. Thanks, Lee |
