| I'll probably get killed here, but I never had a problem with trusting ARMS mounts. They seem to work very well and I am quite baffled by the hate they get. It mostly seems like the hate is in the return to zero problem where you detach it from the weapon. Not sure why someone would do this and I believe most mounts have to be rezero'd once taken off, so I'm unsure what the big deal is if that is even a problem. |

My dot is ADM mounted. My scope is LaRue SPR mounted. Both return to zero within 1/2 MOA, verified repeatedly. I have confidence that I do not need to rezero after swapping. |

I did this with my Bobro this past weekend a couple of times, and the groups never changed. Hit right in the same POI every time, and they were 1/2" groups. So yes he is right. RTZ is important to some. No to gang up on you with MS556 or hate on the arms mounts, but I like to change up optics quite a bit which is why I use good quality QD's. A Larue I used to have would go right back to the same POI also as long as I was consistent in remounting it. I think Larue and Bobro are being modest in their claims of returning "within" 1-1/2 moa. |
