What do you recommend for good quality, nice looking rail covers?
Needing something nice to protect my DD Lite rail that has pretty good feel. If it looks good, that is a bonus too, but I am not basing my decision on looks. Let me know what you think! |

I have Magpul XT Rails on the sides of my MI T7 quad rail. I have large hands and I still feel that they make the forend quite bulky. Will invest in some low profile covers soon and I hope your thread will give me some good ideas. You ever looked at the Magpul XTM Enhanced Rail Covers? Or anyone here? I see their clip on design looks kind of handy and secure. But don't know how they would "feel" as far as texture, grip, width, etc. Anyone have experience with those? |

I'm kind of in the same boat.....
I have a DD and I love the modular float rail system! I put a vertical grip up front and while I like it, I now want to try some covers and see how that feels. If I don't like them I can change back in a matter of minutes. DD has done a great job! |

Ya I agree, I love the rail that I got, now I am wanting to protect it and also see what's out there that people are liking |

Anyone here used the Magpul XTM Rail Covers and the Magpul XTM Enhanced Rail Covers? I want to know which have a better feel. The enhanced do look like they would feel better, and also look pretty good in some pics I have seen, but personal experience beats any pictures.
I am leaning toward them because I want a cover that will cover the rail kind of 'completely', as opposed to rail ladders. |
