I'm wanting to build an upper based off an A2 upper and I was curious if anyone has any recommendations as to which upper receiver to use.

Armalite, RRA and maybe DD not sure if they have one. .. All should be sufficient.

Brownells carries LAR A2 uppers.....LAR is one of the few manufacturers that make most of the receivers for other AR companies.

Buy one from White Oak Armament already set up with 1/4x1/4 or 1/2x1/2 pinned match sights.

CMT makes nice milspec parts. I would also lookup the Improved Battlesight Zero by Colonel Santose and use that to zero the rifle unless you are using it for competition.

Colt mil surp M16A2 upper. Everything else is a wannabe.
